About the job Purchasing Manager (F&B Retail)

ABOUT THE CLIENT
Brought together the strong passion for the art of baking and experience in New York to establish one of the biggest Patisseries in the industry, providing a wide range of cakes and hampers for everyone's needs.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for supervising and controlling the purchase of raw materials, cleaning equipment, packaging, and other needs based on requests according to the Company's requirements.
Location: Gandaria, South Jakarta
Reporting to: Director

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the effect of price increases.
• Carry out good negotiations and communication both internally and externally.
• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, quality products, and competitive prices.
• Negotiate effectively with suppliers to obtain favorable terms and conditions, including prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Oversee the entire purchasing process from requisition to receipt, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with purchasing, such as supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and financial losses.
• Lead and develop the purchasing team, providing guidance, training, and support.

Qualifications:

• Education equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of supervisory-level experience in the F&B industry.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Easily adapts to all work situations and can work individually or in a team.
• Skilled in using Ms. Office and Qube/ERP Systems.
• Possess a high leadership spirit.
• Comfortable working under pressure.
