Siemens Digital Industries Software - Channel Sales Manager (Jakarta, Indonesia)

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across various industries. Our software is used in the conception and manufacturing of Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many daily objects.

We are seeking an experienced Channel Sales Manager specializing in CAD/CAM/CAE solutions based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role reports to the Regional Channel Sales Director and involves leading industry-focused, consultative software sales engagements with medium to large enterprise clients. The position emphasizes leveraging partner relationships and engaging with senior customer stakeholders to identify and close sales opportunities effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships by effectively communicating Siemens' value proposition and demonstrating ROI to address customer business challenges.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide thought leadership.
  • Articulate Siemens' vision and solution approach to customers, ensuring a competitive edge.
  • Engage with customers and channel partners to maximize market share within the LAER practice.
  • Support channel partners in closing deals and resolving conflicts.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of total sales experience with a proven record in selling CAD/CAM/CAE solutions.
  • At least 5 years of direct sales experience engaging with customers.
  • Experience in an enterprise software company is preferred.
  • Strong understanding and sales experience in the Automotive, Electrical, and Electronics industries are highly desirable.
  • Extensive manufacturing domain experience and comfort working within this sector.
  • At least 5 years of consultative selling experience in the manufacturing domain.
  • Thorough understanding of enterprise systems issues related to CAD/CAM/CAE.
  • Formal sales training, such as Challenger sales methodology, is advantageous.
  • Ability to provide insights into manufacturing business issues and digitalization strategies using CAD/CAM/CAE solutions.
  • Proficiency in Challenger selling techniques to engage C-level executives.
  • Broad knowledge of CAD/CAM/CAE solutions and their business benefits.
  • Hands-on problem-solving skills and research capabilities in product development and innovation processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa, both verbal and written.
