Job Description

The selected candidate is expected to work as part of a global organization, and to work independently with no direct report for the time being. You will also be expected to work with the international team regularly. Other responsibilities include:

• Supporting the team to provide advisory services in order to enable the clients to effectively reach and serve their targeted audience.
• Developing innovative and commercially viable solutions using human-centred design approach, as well as implementation strategies to increase reach and/or engagement with the targeted customers.
• Developing and maintaining excellent client relationships and internal team (regional and globally).
• Establishing relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams within the partner's organization to understand the business operations and the clients' needs.
• Identifying key drivers to influence and advocate the partners to implement the solution.
• Managing projects and deliverables as well as meeting the targets and budgets allocated for each project.
• Building and delivering strategic solutions by proposing new ideas for customer acquisition, activation and retention.
• Leading project management including the development, delivery and monitoring of work plans, milestones, targets, budgets, and both internal and external reporting.
• Providing research and analyses and piloting the rollout recommendation and ensuring the implementation is completed within the targets.
• Recommending strategic solutions that are customer-centric and commercially viable.
• Developing a pipeline of potential partners, institutional (Financial Services), and supporting the execution of the prospective clients that are not limited to Indonesia only.
• Monitoring and striving to maintain high levels of quality, and process consistency in the planning efforts.
• Building the understanding of the financial services and fin-tech environment, key players, competitor's landscape.
• Keeping up to date with the local developments and developing strategic partnerships with clients.
• Developing a strong understanding of financial inclusion in the South East Asia market.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant has to be an excellent communicator and possess a strong track record in business development. The ability to communicate in both English and Indonesian is a must, and a background in financial services/fin-tech is highly preferred. Key requirements are:

• Excellent communicator in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• MBA or Master's degree is preferred. You must graduate from a reputable university.
• Ability to travel when applicable.
• Total experience of at least 15+ years in the Financial Services (banking sector).
• Experience in retail banking, MSMEs lending, product development, savings, business strategies/development.
• Strong project management skills, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in consulting/project-based or strategic office roles.
• Track record in business development, managing multiple clients or projects.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Having a network/experience working/studying overseas.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work independently and possess an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to work in a problem-solving environment with good time-management skills.
