About The Role

The Project Officer Risk will be responsible for managing, assessing, and mitigating risks within a project. The primary goal is to ensure that potential risks are identified early and that strategies are put in place to minimize their impact on the project's timeline, budget, and overall success.

Responsibilities

  1. Capture requirements from stakeholders and translate them into comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs).
  2. Track and update project progress through dedicated trackers, providing clear release notes and scope management.
  3. Conduct detailed gap analyses to identify operational inefficiencies, recommend actionable improvements, and report findings.
  4. Periodically review and refine SOPs to ensure they reflect updated processes, standards, and compliance requirements.
  5. Gather and analyze operational data, translating findings into actionable steps for process enhancement.
  6. Facilitate regular cadence meetings, prioritizing tasks and maintaining transparency on project status and deliverables.
  7. Maintain clear communication with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on objectives, timelines, and responsibilities.
  8. Document updates in a centralized repository, adhering to best practices for version control and accessibility.
  9. Strive to increase stakeholder satisfaction by consistently meeting key support metrics and delivering high-quality PMO outputs.
  10. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly updates.

Minimum Requirements

1. Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Operations, or a related field.
  • Having 2 years of experience in project management is preferable.
2. Skills & Competencies
  • Strong writing documentation and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of project management.
  • Analytical mindset for data interpretation and problem-solving.
  • Effective communication to engage multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
3. Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, JIRA, Confluence) is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
