Client Overview: Our client is a foreign company that is a leading provider of brand logo signage, neon boxes, display cases, and branding equipment for retail stores. All of their clients/customers are Chinese brands across Indonesia. Their mission is to elevate retail experiences through innovative and visually compelling solutions.

Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager (Sales) to spearhead our expansion into Indonesian brands. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in driving business growth with a strong network with Indonesian brands. The ideal candidate will also possess conversational Mandarin language skills and have experience managing and developing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Expansion: Lead the client's efforts to enter the Indonesian brands market. Develop and execute strategic plans to introduce and establish our products among Indonesian brands and retailers.
  2. Partnership Development: Identify, approach, and secure partnerships with Indonesian brands and projects. Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive long-term business success.
  3. Sales Leadership: Manage a team of sales executives, providing guidance, support, and performance management. Build and scale the sales team as needed to achieve company objectives.
  4. Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies tailored to the Indonesian market. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and execution of market expansion plans.
  6. Language Skills: Utilize conversational Mandarin to communicate effectively with Chinese partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in sales and marketing, with a focus on business development and market expansion.
  2. Strong understanding of the retail and branding industry, preferably with experience in signage and branding equipment.
  3. Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  4. Conversational proficiency in Mandarin is required.
  5. Strong networking with Indonesian brands is a significant advantage.
  6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
