Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a school or Early Years setting preferred.
• Great spoken and written English.
• Patient, caring, responsible, and confident working with young children.
• Able to follow teacher direction while also showing initiative.
• Relevant education or Early Childhood qualification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead/Homeroom Teacher in delivering engaging teaching and learning activities
• Assist with preparing classroom resources and daily learning activities
• Support students during lessons, outdoor learning, swimming, sports, and school activities
• Assist with classroom routines, transitions, behaviour, and individual student needs
• Help ensure the safety, well-being, and positive development of students
• Observe student progress and communicate relevant information to the Lead/Homeroom Teacher
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff across the school as required
