Job summary

binus seeks dedicated teachers to deliver engaging lessons, plan teaching material, and ensure materials are prepared one month before delivery. Substitute when needed and coordinate with coordinators to improve curriculum through innovation.

In classroom excellence, assess student learning, prepare reports for parents, and produce progress updates. Promote library use, abide by uniform codes, share practices with colleagues, and communicate in English within the school environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor'S degree (S1) required.
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
• Experience with curriculum development and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan teaching materials according to schedule.
• Prepare teaching substitution when needed.
• Consult with coordinators to improve curriculum and its delivery through innovation.
• Plan and manage resources for teaching and ensure materials are prepared one month before delivery.
• Participate in planning, implementing and documenting activities for accreditation.
• Assess student learning progress and conduct assessments.
• Prepare reports for parents regarding student progress.
• Produce progress reports on student activity.
• Encourage library usage for academic activities.
• Ensure adherence to uniform code and school rules.
• Participate in professional sharing activities.
• Communicate in English within the school environment.
• Initiate and manage co-curricular activities for students.
• Arrange programs with students as main participants and prepare for competitions.
• Communicate status of teaching progress with parents when needed.
• Suggest process improvements for teaching activities.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Classroom excellence:

• Conduct assessment to the student's learning process.
• Deliver the request from parents in preparing occasional reports regarding certain students.
• Makes reports on progress about the children learning activity.
• Campaign the necessity of using library for academic activity.
• Regularly notified uniform code and valid rules in the school
• Participate in the professional sharing activity in the school area.
• Communicate frequently using English in the school environment.

Development of six pillars and SEL:

• Initiates class or division based programs to help students grow in SEL and six pillars.
• Participate in various projects regarding the six pillars value.
• Involved and manage the co-curricular activities for students.

Student centric participation development:

• Arrange various programs with students as the main participants & contributor.
• Arrange planning and preparations for students to attend various competitions.

Other duties:

• Communicates with parents regarding the status of teaching progress as well as specific students when needed.
• Suggest improvement process related to teaching activities.
• Perform and complete other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.

Education Requirement:

• Minimum holder Bachelor 's Degree (S1)

Work Exposure/ Experience:

• Minimum 2 years working experience
