A leading engineering company in Papua Barat is seeking a Construction Planner to develop and maintain project schedules. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and reporting skills, along with over 5 years of EPC project management experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry. Responsibilities include tracking progress, preparing reports, and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.

Job description

1. Develop and maintain project schedule plan: Responsible for preparing and compiling the overall project schedule plan, and timely communicating with relevant departments for updates based on project progress.

2. Confirm milestones and critical paths: Confirm the main milestones and critical paths in the overall schedule plan and inform relevant departments in a timely manner.

3. Progress tracking and problem coordination: Master whether the construction progress meets the requirements of the overall construction schedule, report and communicate problems in a timely manner, coordinate and handle them, and propose corresponding countermeasures and measures.

4. Progress report preparation and management: Manage and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, review subcontractors' weekly and monthly progress reports, and provide feedback.

5. Coordination and management meetings: Participate in coordination and management meetings related to project schedules, as well as project coordination meetings with design and construction units.

6. Potential problem handling: Master the overall progress of subcontractors, identify potential delays or slowing trends in progress, coordinate and handle them in a timely manner, propose corresponding countermeasures and measures, accelerate the process to ensure the completion of the overall project completion plan.

7. Plan review: Organize the review of the 2-week plan, 3-month plan, and overall plan submitted by subcontractors

Work requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above, solid project management knowledge and skills, engineering, technology or architecture related majors are preferred.

2. Possess analytical and reporting skills, able to accurately assess project progress, cost, and quality.

3. Proficient in using commonly used office software and Primavera 6 planning software, familiar with multi-level project planning management methods, and familiar with project progress monitoring related knowledge

4. Able to develop and maintain project schedules, establish a progress measurement system, track overall project progress, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports

5. Able to track the progress of subcontractors, promptly identify any delays in progress, and coordinate their resolution

6. Candidates with over 5 years of EPC project management experience and backgrounds in the oil and gas or refining industries are preferred

7. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
