Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and achieve revenue targets in the oleochemical market.
Responsibilities:
- Identify new market opportunities and trends to enhance product offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, including manufacturers in the personal care, food, and industrial sectors.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with clients.
- Have a deep understanding of oleochemical products, their applications, and the industries they serve.
- Stay up-to-date with technological advancements, regulatory changes, and customer needs within the oleochemical industry.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and customer demands.
- Analyze competitors’ products, pricing strategies, and positioning.
- Track and report on sales performance, forecasting future sales based on market trends and historical data.
- Collaborate with marketing and production teams to ensure smooth operations and alignment.
- Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to product quality, delivery, or service.
- Provide technical support to customers when needed.
- Coordinate with the logistics and operations team to ensure timely deliveries and efficient distribution.
Job Requirements:
- A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- A background in chemistry or chemical engineering may be particularly beneficial due to the technical nature of the products.
- Understanding of the oleochemical industry, including production processes, uses of products, and market trends.
- Previous experience in sales, ideally within the chemical, petrochemical, or related industries.
- A strong understanding of the products, their uses, and the ability to explain complex chemical concepts to non-technical customers.
