Job description

Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and achieve revenue targets in the oleochemical market.

Responsibilities:
  1. Identify new market opportunities and trends to enhance product offerings.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, including manufacturers in the personal care, food, and industrial sectors.
  3. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with clients.
  4. Have a deep understanding of oleochemical products, their applications, and the industries they serve.
  5. Stay up-to-date with technological advancements, regulatory changes, and customer needs within the oleochemical industry.
  6. Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and customer demands.
  7. Analyze competitors’ products, pricing strategies, and positioning.
  8. Track and report on sales performance, forecasting future sales based on market trends and historical data.
  9. Collaborate with marketing and production teams to ensure smooth operations and alignment.
  10. Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to product quality, delivery, or service.
  11. Provide technical support to customers when needed.
  12. Coordinate with the logistics and operations team to ensure timely deliveries and efficient distribution.
Job Requirements:
  1. A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. A background in chemistry or chemical engineering may be particularly beneficial due to the technical nature of the products.
  3. Understanding of the oleochemical industry, including production processes, uses of products, and market trends.
  4. Previous experience in sales, ideally within the chemical, petrochemical, or related industries.
  5. A strong understanding of the products, their uses, and the ability to explain complex chemical concepts to non-technical customers.
  6. Location: South Jakarta.
