Job description

We're looking for someone to ensure the company’s fixed asset management is carried out systematically, efficiently, and in a standardized manner to maximize its contribution to operational performance and profitability. Also responsible for maintaining asset data accuracy, preventing idle assets, and supporting strategic decisions related to asset investment and efficiency.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Asset Management Analysis: Oversee and evaluate asset conditions, economic lifespan, and utilization on a regular basis.
2. Asset Movement Reporting: Ensure all asset movements (additions, transfers, disposals) are accurately and promptly recorded and reported.
3. Asset Closing: Lead the month-end asset closing process in collaboration with the Accounting team, ensuring data synchronization with the General Ledger.
4. Asset Valuation (Appraisal): Manage internal and external asset appraisal processes as the basis for depreciation calculation or asset disposal.
5. Asset Standardization: Establish and enforce asset data standards, codification, documentation, and labeling across all work units.
6. Idle Asset Reporting: Identify idle (unused) assets and provide recommendations for reuse, disposal, or relocation.
7. Asset Profitability Analysis: Review the effectiveness of assets in contributing to revenue and provide insights to management.
8. Asset Investment Analysis: Assess the feasibility of new asset investments based on ROI, operational needs, and strategic planning.
9. Asset System & Process Improvement Planning: Initiate improvement projects to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of asset management.
10. Team Development and Supervision: Foster, develop, and supervise the asset management team to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence.
