Job description

A growing travel agency in Jakarta is seeking a qualified Senior Ticketing - Travel Consultant.

Job Description:
  • Assist travelers via incoming calls, providing information on air tickets, accommodations, travel documents, insurance, and transportation rentals.
  • Sell tour products and tickets (domestic and international), including insurance and documentation.
  • Use GDS Ticketing systems (Galileo, Sabre, Amadeus, Althea) at an expert level for issuing and reissuing domestic and international tickets.
  • Prioritize selling tour packages such as FIT, group, and incentive programs.
  • Explain travel options and itineraries to clients as needed.
  • Diagnose traveler issues and complaints, collaborating with supervisors to find solutions.
  • Convince new customers, especially those new to traveling.
  • Handle airline ticket sales and other travel products.
  • Maintain good relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Deliver high-quality, bespoke luxury holiday experiences with attention to detail and exceptional customer service.
  • Provide clients with necessary travel documents, destination information, and travel guides.
Job Requirements:
  • Graduated from a Tourism Academy or SMIP, with relevant certifications in Ticketing and/or Tourism.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience at the same level; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Familiarity and certification with Galileo, Abacus, Sabre, or Althea reservation systems.
  • Ability to handle requests for hotel vouchers, tour packages, and travel documents.
  • Strong personality, humble, polite, professional, service-oriented, with a positive attitude.
  • Good communication skills, empathetic and sympathetic responses to build rapport.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a significant advantage.
