Job description

We’re looking for a highly organized and creative Events Coordinator to join our team and bring experiences to life. From intimate gatherings to large-scale productions, you'll be the go-to person for planning, coordinating, and executing events that leave a lasting impression for both Tacos Aqui & Club Corazon. You will work closely with the director, venue manager & marketing manager to ensure all targets are met, guidelines are followed, and events are executed properly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure to ensure events run smoothly and meet client expectations.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Plan, coordinate, and execute a range of events from concept to completion.
  2. Liaise with clients, vendors, performers, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  3. Prepare event proposals, timelines, and production schedules.
  4. Source and manage event materials, supplies, and decorations.
  5. Oversee event setup, breakdown, and on-site coordination to ensure the event runs smoothly on the day of the event.
  6. Monitor event budgets and ensure financial efficiency.
  7. Research and secure suitable venues, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
  8. Manage event marketing in coordination with the social media/marketing team.
  9. Ensure all events meet brand standards and client expectations.
  10. Network with industry professionals and build relationships with vendors and clients.
  11. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time during events.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in event planning or coordination (1–3 years preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and problem-solve on the fly.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of vendor management and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with marketing and promotional tools is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Passion for hospitality, nightlife, entertainment, or experiential events.
