Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct initial non-health underwriting and personal underwriting, handling mostly medical underwriting cases
2. Check completeness and validity of documents according to SOP
3. Analyze SPAJ and related documents, to give proper decision following underwriting guidelines
4. Analyze administrative issues as well as medical requirements
5. Monitor service standard and turnaround time, ensuring prompt and accurate results of underwriting process
6. Liaise with Legal and Compliance teams to report suspicious transactions found during daily underwriting processes

Qualifications:

1. Minimum bachelor’s degree in nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Biology or another relevant field
2. Have a minimum of 4-7 years of experience in Medical Underwriting in the life Insurance Industry is a must
3. Good analytical skills with a good sense of risk selection
4. Action oriented and customer oriented, with good communication and team work
5. Able to communicate in English, both actively and passively
