Section Head Pilot Plant (Textile Manufacture)

Placement: Karawang

Job Description:

Plan, monitor, and control the operations of the Pilot Plant to prepare samples and develop new yarns, enhancing our VAP products portfolio.

Production Planning

1. Prepare the production plan for sample production based on priority.
2. Assess raw material requirements and place requisitions accordingly.
3. Maintain maximum machine utilization rate at all times.
4. Coordinate with the Dispatch team to schedule deliveries.

Pilot Plant Operations

1. Monitor and control process parameters to meet required standards.
2. Coordinate with the Quality Department for periodic testing at various stages.
3. Transfer knowledge and processes from Pilot Plant stage to Bulk Production.

Application Studies

1. Study the performance of products across technologies from downstream processing to consumer.
2. Prepare comparative analyses of material properties and advantages of newly developed products versus current alternatives.

Documentation

1. Compile and interpret data to draw conclusions and provide input to production and product development teams.
2. Prepare marketing materials such as leaflets, brochures, and infographics to promote the adoption of our VAP products.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Diploma degree in textiles is required.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the textiles/yarn industry.
3. Fluent in English.
