Field Sales Specialist
Location: Bandung, Indonesia
Objectives
As a Field Sales Specialist, your mission is to strategically plan and manage medium-sized business customers (MBC). You will play a crucial role in acquiring new customers and nurturing existing ones to ensure sustained business growth and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Acquisition: Proactively seek and prospect medium business customers (MBC) targets to win new customers who have not traded in the last 12 months.
- Customer Nurturing: Develop and nurture customer relationships over a 12-month period, ensuring a seamless handover to Customer Service/Operations while retaining and growing additional business.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and their affiliates through joint visits with Product and Team Leaders, and by organizing workshops to share updates on regulations and products.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead by continuously updating market conditions, including new government regulations, to provide customers with the latest insights.
- Customer Needs Assessment: Assess customer needs and recommend tailored solutions using your industry knowledge to add value.
- Business Closure: Drive business growth by effectively connecting customer needs with DHL solutions, showcasing the value we bring.
- Collaboration: Leverage networks within various Sales channels within DHL Group to collaborate on customer strategies and offer comprehensive supply chain services.
- Documentation: Gather relevant customer information for RFI/RFP/RFQ, ensuring proper operational handover and implementation to meet customer expectations.
- CRM Management: Utilize DGF ISell/CRM to maintain high data quality and manage customer information efficiently.
- Lead Transfer: Identify and transfer high-value potential customers to the key account Sales channel and manage lower-value opportunities appropriately.
- Compliance: Adhere to QHSE procedures and regulations, actively participating in all QHSE programs to ensure safety and quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree is an advantage.
- Experience: At least 2 years in Sales and Marketing with logistics experience.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in computer literacy.
- Personal Attributes: Results-oriented with a strong respect for colleagues and customers.
- Competencies: Possess all technical competencies required for the position.
