Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG or hygiene product manufacturing (e.g., diapers, tissues, sanitary pads)
- Proficient in end-to-end production processes: planning, machine operation, quality monitoring, and distribution
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5R/5S, and Kaizen principles
- Skilled in analyzing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Knowledgeable in ISO 9001, CPAKB, CPPKRTB, and K3L (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards
- Able to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Proven experience in leading teams of at least 50 people, including supervisors and operators
- Capable of setting, monitoring, and improving production KPIs
- Skilled in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production reports
- Able to coordinate effectively with QC, Maintenance, Warehouse, and PPIC departments
Soft Skills:
- Communicative, assertive, analytical, and target-oriented
- Able to perform well under pressure and solve problems systematically
- Highly adaptable to system and equipment changes
Language & System Skills:
- Proficient in English (Mandarin is a plus)
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Odoo
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning & Supervision:
- Develop strategies and production plans to meet efficiency and output targets
- Supervise the use of raw materials, workforce, and machine capacity to ensure optimal performance
- Ensure production runs smoothly according to SOPs, output targets, and quality standards
- Monitor production costs, identify opportunities for cost reduction & waste minimization
- Manage OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and reduce machine downtime
- Quality Improvement & Compliance:
- Collaborate with QC & QA teams to ensure products meet quality standards
- Team & Workforce Management:
- Train, coach, and develop employees in the Production Department
- Foster discipline, teamwork, and a positive work culture within the production team
- Coordination with Other Departments:
- Work closely with PPIC, Warehouse, Engineering, and Maintenance to ensure smooth operations
- Report production achievements and challenges to the factory management
