This role is responsible for end-to-end procurement activities, including market research, contract management, supplier negotiation, order placement, and quality control, with a focus on cost efficiency and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of procurement experience in the food industry, strong communication and planning skills, and proficiency in both Chinese and Indonesian languages is preferred.

Our client is a major food and beverage company from China, offering a wide range of snack and drink products. It operates with several well-known brands and maintains a strong distribution presence across the country. The company has experienced significant growth and development over the years.

Responsibilities

1. Execute procurement activities based on plans, including gathering quotes, negotiating contracts, handling acceptance processes, and conducting post-contract evaluations to ensure timely purchases and minimize excess stock and costs.
2. Conduct market research and monitor industry trends to inform and adapt procurement strategies as needed.
3. Manage the full procurement cycle, from order creation and supplier negotiations to tracking delivery progress and overseeing quality inspections.
4. Review contracts and validate product pricing, specifications, and technical requirements before finalizing purchases.
5. Ensure high procurement standards by strictly monitoring product quality and preventing the purchase of substandard goods.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, chemical engineering, packaging, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in the food industry, with solid knowledge of procurement processes; leadership experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and responsible, with strong problem-solving, communication, execution, and teamwork abilities, along with good planning skills.
• Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office tools for daily tasks.
