What do we expect from you?

Under the guidance of the Front Office Manager, supervise and coordinate all Front Office duties and handle clerical tasks related to guest arrivals, departures, and in-house services, using the hotel Property Management System in accordance with Mondrian Singapore Duxton Policies and Procedures.

How your day looks like?

  1. Handle guest queries and requests
  2. Record incidents, log them, and follow up with the Front Office Manager or Director of Rooms
  3. Report and address potential hazards promptly
  4. Monitor arrivals/departures and ensure guest names are used correctly
  5. Maintain knowledge of current and future availability
  6. Know hotel features and services, including F&B outlets, Business Center, Spa/Gym, etc.
  7. Be familiar with room types, layouts, rates, and special packages/promotions
  8. Assist with site inspections and promote upselling opportunities
  9. Represent the Front Office in meetings and ensure effective communication
  10. Maintain cleanliness and operational standards in all Front Office areas
  11. Monitor pre-registered arrivals, manage no-shows, and ensure proper billing
  12. Greet and assist guests, including VIPs and regulars
  13. Ensure the Front Door is covered and guests are greeted promptly
  14. Protect guest privacy and adhere to confidentiality policies
  15. Follow hotel credit policies and financial procedures
  16. Complete any additional tasks or projects as assigned and be available for emergencies
