Job description

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering
  • 5-8 years of Project Engineering experience in a similar industry (Oil & Gas / Offshore)
  • 10-15 years of experience and well-versed in mechanical discipline with respect to materials and manufacturing activities
  • Well-versed in Project Management Practices recognized globally for onshore and offshore projects.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% based on project requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Engineering Manager as needed to make projects successful.
  • Liaison with concerned departments to meet project objectives in terms of safety, function, sizing, project specifications, schedule, and cost.
  • Ability to work and perform well under pressure.
  • Check and approve mechanical project drawings/deliverables.
  • Review and prepare other project engineering documentation needed to support the projects.
  • Coordinate internal engineering activities between Customer, Project Management, Applications, Process Engineering, Design, Controls, Structural/Civil, Manufacturing, and Service/AM, third-party stakeholders etc. to ensure all groups are aligned in terms of meeting and achieving project objectives.
  • Coordinate the use of external Mechanical/Structural/Civil engineering services/stakeholders to ensure alignment in terms of safety, function, sizing, project specifications, schedule, and cost.
  • Provide feedback and collaborate with the Engineering Standards team to improve existing standardized designs, software tools, templates, and processes.
  • Maintain and present project budgets.
  • Ensure an increase in Gross Margin of the project without compromising on quality and project specifications and deliverables.
  • Well-versed in Project Management practices and support the Project Engineering Manager to implement them.
  • Develop Project Schedules and perform monitoring/updates of those schedules.
  • Create and update Management Review reports with respect to projects.
