RnD Assistant Manager/Senior Supervisor (Chemist)

We are seeking an experienced Research and Development (R&D) professional. This role requires creativity, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, laboratory expertise, and the ability to learn independently.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct research to develop new products from concept through formulation to launch, including lab and production trials (cleaning products, cosmetics, household goods, etc.).
2. Improve and optimize existing products and processes while exploring alternative raw materials to reduce costs and enhance quality.
3. Collaborate cross-functionally with QC, Production, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure smooth product development and market readiness.
4. Manage R&D project budgets efficiently to ensure cost-effectiveness.
5. Ensure all product documentation complies with regulatory standards, including BPOM registration, Halal certification, and production standards.
6. Perform testing and validation, including process validation and equipment verification for raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
7. Train and support the R&D team to build technical expertise and foster an innovation-driven culture.
8. Maintain strong communication with suppliers to ensure the quality and sustainability of raw materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Technical Chemistry, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in R&D, preferably in cleaning, cosmetic, or household product sectors.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (BPOM, Halal, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and project management skills.
• Proactive, innovative, and a strong team player.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
