We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Business Development to drive new business opportunities, develop winning proposals, expand strategic partnerships, and mentor junior team members. You will play a key role in the company’s growth strategy and act as a role model for sales excellence and client relationship management.

We offer a wide range of sports marketing solutions, including online sports media, sports marketing agency services, sports talent management, and community engagement and activations. Our first product, Runhood media, distributes content through social media platforms and is continuing to develop its presence in the digital ecosystem. Athletica has partnered with prominent local and international brands to fulfill their vision and mission through sports, and we support sports talent in Indonesia to reach their maximum potential.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, evaluate, and execute new business opportunities within targeted markets or sectors
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and strategic partners
• Lead contract negotiations and successfully close deals with potential customers
• Develop, tailor, and deliver high-quality business proposals and client presentations that align with customer needs
• Collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, product, and operations to develop competitive business solutions
• Generate and present pipeline updates and sales forecasts to management
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations for product innovation, market development, or new business models
• Mentor and support the development of junior team members or Business Development Executives
• Act as a role model for a proactive, results-oriented, and collaborative work culture
Qualifications
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Partnership Management (preferably in sports/healthy lifestyle industry)
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business growth targets
• Exceptional skills in communication, negotiation, proposal writing, and client presentations
• Strong strategic thinking with a high degree of execution ability
• Experienced with CRM systems and sales enablement platforms (such as HubSpot, Salesforce)
• Informal leadership skills: ability to coach and mentor team members without direct reporting lines
