About the Role:

As Production Manager, you will report to the Head of Operations and lead manufacturing teams across multiple shifts to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and on-time production. You will drive performance improvement, ensure compliance with global standards, and foster a culture of safety and accountability within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Coach and develop production staff aligned with KPIs and performance frameworks.
    • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Promote corporate values, ethics, and safety across all levels.
  • Operations Management
    • Lead day-to-day production to achieve output, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
    • Implement lean manufacturing and efficiency strategies.
    • Collaborate with other departments (planning, logistics, quality) to improve workflow and minimize downtime.
  • Maintenance Oversight
    • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance with the technical team.
    • Recommend machine upgrades and support maintenance cost optimization.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance
    • Enforce safety protocols and ensure full regulatory and corporate compliance.
    • Ensure operational adherence to ISO 9000 standards.
  • Reporting & Strategy
    • Monitor operational KPIs, labor efficiency, and output.
    • Provide production reports and improvement plans to senior leadership.
    • Contribute to budgeting, inventory, procurement, and capacity planning.
    Job Requirements:
    • Willing to work on-site in Semarang, Central Java.
    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
    • Minimum 4 years’ experience in manufacturing, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
    • Background in apparel, printing, packaging, or supply chain manufacturing preferred.
    • Familiar with Lean, ELS, or Continuous Flow methodologies.
    • Solid knowledge of operational KPIs, quality systems, and team development.
    • Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
