Job Description
Prospecting & Sales: Actively hunt for new business opportunities by prospecting and knocking on doors.
Lead Generation: Develop and manage relationships with potential clients in Indonesia, focusing on generating sales revenue.
Sales Strategy: Independently strategize and execute sales plans to meet and exceed targets, working closely with the Sales Manager for South Asia.
Industry Expertise: Utilize knowledge of the solutions and machinery sectors to engage with key decision-makers and drive sales.
Customer Relationship Management: Leverage established relationships and continuously build new connections within the industry to expand the customer base.
Negotiations & Closing: Lead negotiations, handle contracts, and close deals effectively and efficiently.
Adaptability: Unlearn outdated methods, be proactive, and adjust to market demands and customer needs in real-time.
The Successful Applicant
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a sales engineering or related sales role, with a proven track record of success.
Familiarity with either of the following industries: mining, steel, palm oil, hygiene; and existing relationships with key customers.
Strong hunter mentality: Ability to actively seek new business and close deals.
Independent, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and uncertainty.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under minimal supervision and take initiative.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
