Responsibilities

We are looking for a Vehicle Team Leader to oversee the operational readiness of our EV taxi fleet. This role focuses on vehicle inspection, quality control, regulatory compliance, maintenance, and incident handling. You will ensure all electric vehicles are safe, efficient, and meet both internal standards and legal requirements. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with vehicle operations and is capable of leading a small team in a fast-moving environment.

  • Conduct and lead vehicle inspections to ensure all units meet safety, performance, and quality standards before deployment or after servicing.
  • Ensure compliance and documentation by tracking licenses, inspection records, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage accident and incident handling, including first response, root cause identification, coordination with relevant departments, and reporting.
  • Supervise maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring quick resolution of technical issues and minimal downtime through coordination with mechanics or service vendors.
  • Manage and coordinate drivers to ensure efficient vehicle utilization, address operational issues, and provide support to enhance driver performance and safety.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in driver management, fleet operations, vehicle inspection, or maintenance (experience with electric vehicle is a plus).
  • Industry background in taxi-transportation, ride-hailing, automotive, or logistics is highly preferred
  • Strong technical understanding of vehicle systems and compliance standards
  • Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to work onsite and be actively involved in field operations.
