Job title – Account Manager, HNC Indonesia

As an Account Manager, you will be tasked to manage and develop the business with customers to achieve the agreed sales. This includes an extensive understanding of the opportunity, the selection and negotiation with business partners in Indonesia, the recommendation for product portfolio, price, placement and promotion specific to the local market and consistent with our regional/global strategies.

Your key responsibilities

  1. Sales (maintain and grow) of dsm-firmenich products directly to customers or through distribution channels in Indonesia.
  2. Plan and budget demand for products and customers in collaboration with respective planning tools and functions.
  3. Develop and implement sales plans and new projects, then capture & track respective customers' actions in CRM.
  4. Drive proactivity and build strong business potential, promote innovation - Maximize Vitality and secure a strong pipeline with high conversion.
  5. Achieve KPI objectives – Topline Sales revenue, Gross Margin (GPx), and Specific innovation/synergy sales.
  6. Share visit reports within 48 hours, including client information, relevant market data, feedback, and conduct post-mortem analysis when needed.

You bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in science/technology or business-related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant commercial experience and technical knowledge and skills within the Nutrition/Food Supplements industry.
  • Knowledge of industry and markets, in-depth know-how about products and/or applications.
  • Proven track record of sales and working to key account management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Team Player. Negotiation skills.
  • Ability to perform under stress, initiative, and experience working abroad.
