Head of Supply Chain (Food Manufacturing - WFO - Bogor)

We are currently assisting a client focused on food manufacturing based in Bogor. The company is committed to innovation, quality, and the rich cultural values and unique local characteristics of Indonesia's diverse regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a scalable, resilient, and sustainable supply chain strategy across all plants.
  • Lead cross-functional supply chain teams, including logistics, demand planning, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Oversee logistics across multiple plant locations, ensuring coordination and process standardization.
  • Optimize inbound and outbound transportation, including chain logistics if applicable.
  • Lead integrated planning processes, aligning demand forecasts with production and inventory plans.
  • Maintain optimal safety stock and reduce waste, obsolescence, and spoilage.
  • Drive warehouse performance, layout optimization, and FIFO/FEFO practices.
  • Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Implement and manage supply chain systems and tools.
  • Leverage data analytics to optimize planning, improve accuracy, and drive cost savings.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, applying Lean and Six Sigma principles.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Food Technology, Business, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive supply chain experience in the food manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing multi-site operations in a regulated food production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of perishable goods logistics, cold chain, and food safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, demand planning tools, MS Excel, and Power BI.
  • High attention to detail with a strong understanding of regulatory and quality requirements in food manufacturing.
