About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support professional to join our team at PT. Biofactory Teknika Uama' in Batam, Riau Islands. As an IT Support specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's technology infrastructure and providing exceptional technical assistance to our users.

What you'll be doing

• Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting for a variety of hardware and software issues reported by our employees
• Perform system maintenance, installations, and upgrades to ensure the optimal performance of our IT systems
• Manage and maintain the company's server infrastructure, including monitoring, backups, and security
• Assist with the implementation and configuration of new software and technology solutions
• Respond to and resolve user inquiries and support requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and resolve complex technical problems
• Maintain detailed documentation and records of all IT-related activities and incidents

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar IT support role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of hardware, software, and networking technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Solid understanding of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS
• Proficiency in using remote support tools, ticketing systems, and other IT management software
• Strong communication and customer service skills to provide effective support to end-users
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure
