AIRSCREAM UK is looking for an Area Sales Executive to be responsible for opening accounts, generating sales leads, and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, placing and monitoring point-of-sale material, conducting field audits, negotiating contracts with potential clients, and implementing strategic business plans for the designated area. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the sales process, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Account Management:
- Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Adjust the content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
- Key Account in HQ level negotiation
- Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
Point of Sale Material and Field Audits:
- Place point of sale material and keep track of company assets.
- Conduct field audits to ensure compliance with company standards and provide feedback on market trends.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Lead and coach the Sales Representative by implementing strategic task & on job training
Customer Relations and Problem Solving:
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Recommend changes in products, services, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Strategic Planning and Development:
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Develop a local area marketing plan for the designated territory.
- Identify and develop new channel opportunities for business growth.
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in field sales and generating leads.
- Experience in the Vape/Tobacco industry with modern trade is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
