Our client is a leading Insurance company with over 50 years of experience in the industry.

Job Description

1. Design and sustain architecture that aligns with the broader IT vision, ensuring it meets the company's strategic objectives.
2. Develop and execute a roadmap to guide the adoption of new IT systems while transitioning existing ones towards a unified enterprise application framework.
3. Manage architecture governance processes, enabling senior IT leadership to allocate resources toward initiatives that are both strategically and financially sound.
4. Assess and explore emerging technologies as a subject-matter expert, contributing to innovation and process enhancements.
5. Lead the architecture team in defining and promoting technology reference models, best practices, and standards across the organization.

The Successful Applicant

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or a related discipline.
2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with a solid background in designing IT solutions.
3. Exposure to a variety of technology domains such as applications, system integration, IT infrastructure, DevOps, cloud, and cybersecurity; with familiarity to DevOps & Cloud technology (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure)
4. Proven experience in shaping solution architecture for major projects while working with both in-house and outsourced teams.
5. Ability to align IT strategies with business objectives and maintain a holistic perspective in complex environments.
6. Strong communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
