Job description

Our client is a Japanese Retail company. Currently, they are looking for Buyer/Merchandiser (Fruits).

Job Responsibilities:

1. Maintain promotion activities, including price changes, sales reports, and updates to the marketing department.
2. Manage the grocery database for new items, price updates, and new suppliers.
3. Assist in daily merchandising operations related to fruits.
4. Recap all administration tasks, circulate approvals, and follow up on agreements.
5. Provide weekly data reports.
6. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in any major.
2. Minimum of 2 years' experience with local/import fruit suppliers.
3. Ability to speak English at a business level.
4. Experience as a merchandiser/buyer with knowledge of fruit products.
5. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
6. Good communication and negotiation skills.
7. Excellent skills in inventory, allocation, and pricing management.
8. Merchandising orientation and product development skills.
9. Fast learner with an open mind.
