About the Role

Rosé All Day is looking for a Modern Trade Manager who’s passionate about building strong retail partnerships, growing revenue, and leading impactful sales strategies in the beauty industry.

This role is for someone who thrives on both strategy and execution: from owning the P&L of each account, leading trade promotions, managing partnerships, to identifying new modern trade channels and unlocking business development opportunities. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure Rosé All Day shines across shelves and screens.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop and execute a robust modern trade strategy across existing and new retail channels.
  • Identify and explore new business opportunities in modern trade (national and regional retailers, specialty beauty chains, etc.).
  • Lead new account acquisition, channel expansion, and partnerships that align with brand growth goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key modern trade partners such as Watsons, Sociolla, Guardian, and similar.
  • Develop account-specific strategies to grow volume, revenue, and share of shelf.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, manage contracts, and ensure alignment with business targets.
  • Own and manage the P&L for each modern trade account to ensure profitability and sustainability.
  • Set revenue targets, track performance, and optimize sales execution to meet or exceed KPIs.
  • Monitor trade spending, ROI, and implement corrective actions when needed.

Promotions & Brand Visibility

  • Collaborate with marketing to plan and execute in-store activations, merchandising strategies, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the Trade & Promotion team to ensure brand visibility and sell-out performance.
  • Lead community-driven retail activities (e.g., beauty classes, workshops, in-store experiences) that drive engagement and sales.

Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, including Key Account Managers and Trade Promotion executives.
  • Provide coaching, goal setting, and performance tracking for the team.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure operational excellence.

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and analyze stock movement by account.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and prepare monthly sales reports.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in modern trade, key account management, or channel development, ideally within beauty, skincare, or FMCG industries.
  • Proven success in managing key accounts and owning account-level P&L.
  • Experience in leading business development efforts and launching new modern trade channels.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Familiar with sales systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Willing to travel and committed to a WFO setup in Jakarta.
