Position Title: Product Manager / Panel Tester
Key Responsibilities
- Support Sales team in marketing promotion and client development.
- Conduct demand analysis and optimize products accordingly.
- Manage the capsule minimarket at the Surabaya office, including recording all incoming and outgoing flavor capsules, storing them according to standards, and classifying capsules based on specified specifications.
- Analyze client requirements deeply and prepare Client Needs Analysis Reports.
- Identify market opportunities in capsule flavors and demonstrate the ability to innovate.
- Conduct capsule flavor testing panels with customers as needed, absorb customer feedback, and communicate customer needs to R&D and/or the production team in China.
- Collaborate with R&D to drive product iterations, lead new product development projects, and align with market demands.
- Monitor client trial feedback, coordinate improvements in formulas and production processes, and facilitate product commercialization.
- Deliver tailored technical solutions.
- Track market dynamics in Southeast Asia, such as Indonesian tobacco regulations and competitor innovations, and publish Market Risk Alert Reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Materials, Food Science, Marketing, or related fields.
- Experience: Familiarity with the tobacco industry; at least 3 years of B2B product management experience, preferably in bead/capsule/microencapsulation or functional particle industries. Experience with OEM client collaboration models, technical sales, or solution consulting is a plus.
- Language: Fluency in English, Indonesian, and Chinese.
- Citizenship: Indonesian.
- Personality: Combines technical knowledge with business insight, resilient under pressure, adaptable to frequent business travel, and able to work well in a team.
