• Must hold a clean Full UK driving licence and Class 2 vehicle licence.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph certifications are necessary.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Driver (Class 2) to join our Service & Hire team. The successful candidate will be based at our Inverness Branch and responsible for the safe delivery of all goods to and from branches/ customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivering/uplifting large hire & service equipment by HGV to customer premises over the Highlands and Islands with occasional runs out-with this area. This will also include delivering timber and ADR products.
2. There may also be times when the successful candidate will be required to drive other vehicles within the fleet, depending on work requirements.
3. When not driving, will be required to assist in the organisation and upkeep of the hire yard and workshops.
4. Compliance with company, driving, Health & Safety and legal processes.
5. Security of vehicle that you have responsibility for and its contents including daily checks.

Skills and Experience

1. Full UK driving licence – preferably clean.
2. Licence to drive minimum Class 2 vehicles (Hi-Ab and ADR would be an advantage).
3. Full CPC and Digital Tachograph necessary.
4. Further training may be provided to the successful candidate to secure the qualifications required.
5. Hard copies of all sections of Driving Licence will be verified at interview.
6. Be I.T. literate and have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to respond positively to new challenges and change.
9. Willing to work out of hours.
10. Ability to work under pressure.
