Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge sales handover of jobs. Study quotation/sales order, purchase order, specifications and understand project requirements.
- Perform project planning covering materials, available shop capacity, project duration and identify bottlenecks, critical path items. Prepare and update production schedules in ERP system or MS-Excel. Run MRP system.
- Prepare and update project schedule in MS-Project or MS-Excel.
- Plan raw material requirements based on Sales forecast. Check inventory levels and order materials for new projects. Update GLOVIA inventory records when materials are issued out to jobs.
- Conduct Project Kick-off meetings and run through Project Management checklist. Review lessons learnt log at the start of each project.
- Raise Engineering requests, WPS request, as required, to initiate Engineering work related to the project. Create Glovia Part Numbers, Work Orders.
- Coordinate with Quality department for timely completion of inspection activities (e.g., for TPI involvement, ITP, inspection reports, etc.). Review inspection reports (e.g., Ovality reports, inspection reports on rental tools).
- Prepare route sheets, project Bill of Materials, shop pack. Issue marking instructions and weld map. Initiate risk and opportunities register and contingency plan for projects. Update critical goods register as PO is released to supplier.
- Ensure customer, API and other applicable specification requirements, in-house and legal requirements for the product (including any subsequent changes), are captured in the route sheet/Oil States Purchase order, and copies of it made available to all parties involved.
- Source competitively priced raw materials, subcomponents, spare parts, services that meet the required specifications and delivery requirements. Create purchase requisition in GLOVIA. Participate in cost saving and efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Discuss the project plan with stakeholders. Attend weekly production meetings, daily shop meetings.
- Drive projects to timely completion. Monitor and review the job processing with Production, Quality departments and vendors to ensure work scope, costs, quality and delivery requirements are met and customer, third-party intervention points are adhered to.
- Provide regular updates to customer on project progress including timely communication of delays & issues. Recognize changes to project work scope and obtain timely customer approval.
- Tackle upcoming issues in projects promptly by liaising with the relevant parties and driving things to closure. Work with relevant functions to monitor risks, opportunities & activate contingency plans as required.
- Perform formal closeout of project that includes updating of risk and opportunities register, lessons learnt log, costs of quality spreadsheet. Prepare job closing email.
- Ensure all project documents as listed in MasterControl audit requirements are available in Master Control, in a timely manner. This includes customer specifications, technical information, operating and maintenance manual, route sheets, BOM, project schedules, email correspondences, minutes of meeting.
- Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by Projects/Engineering Manager.
- Participate, as required, in Quality and HSE audits from API and other external organizations.
- Ensure compliance with OIL STATES INDUSTRIES HSE Policies and HSE Management System.

Qualification Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification:
Degree/Diploma in Engineering.
Knowledge & Experience:
5 years of experience working in a Manufacturing environment and be familiar with manufacturing processes such as Machining, Welding and Assembly & Testing. Experience in connector products and familiar with fabrication of casing and conductor joints would be an advantage. Competent in Microsoft Applications – Excel, Word, MS-Project, ERP software.
