About Our Client
Our client is a growing multinational FMCG company with a well-known brand presence within food-related categories.
Job Description
Develop and implement a long-term strategy for the assigned area and channels, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Oversee all aspects of the Modern Trade business, including various platforms like F&B and online channels, while fostering strong relationships with both distributors and customers to ensure financial targets are met for both parties.
Provide accurate sales volume forecasts based on distributor and customer/channel inputs.
Collaborate with the distributor's sales team to ensure excellent execution in four key areas: distribution expansion, product merchandising, on-shelf availability, and promotion implementation.
Plan, execute, and monitor channel activities and campaigns to achieve the set sales and market share objectives in the relevant channels.
Manage trading terms by working closely with distributors to optimize results while maintaining cost-effectiveness in business operations.
Participate in sales and marketing programs, tracking costs and evaluating their effectiveness against goals.
Identify channel-related challenges and opportunities.
Develop initiatives to maximize the potential of the territory/channel plan.
The Successful Applicant
A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in FMCG modern trade sales, trade marketing, ideally with leading multinational food companies.
Preferred experience as Head of Modern Trade or National Key Account Manager, handling multiple customers and working with distributors.
Experience in managing online/e-commerce business is a plus.
Strong network in Modern Trade Retailers and with Distributors.
Excellent negotiation skills with a keen business acumen.
Proficient in Key Account management, customer relations, and operational management.
Fluent in both local language and English.
Self-motivated, and determined to thrive in a challenging environment.
Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
