Quality Manager - East Java (Bearing/Fabrication/Machining)

The quality manager is responsible for overseeing the QMS and HSE of the workshop to ensure customer equipment is refurbished safely, meeting the company's quality standards, in line with best practices, on time, and within budget.

The client is a leading provider of conveyor equipment and components.

Description

1. Promote and uphold industry-standard safety practices while fostering a positive and motivated workplace culture.
2. Conduct inspections for both incoming and outgoing goods.
3. Oversee process and project engineering activities.
4. Ensure quality control throughout all stages of production.
5. Manage product quality assurance systems.
6. Develop and implement quality systems and inspection procedures.
7. Supervise goods receiving inspections.
8. Oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) systems.
9. Develop and align QEHS policies with company standards.
10. Provide QEHS-related training to all employees.
11. Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
12. Ensure environmental compliance of plant operations according to regulatory standards.

Profile

1. Grade Certificate in Mechanical with extensive post-trade experience.
2. Section 44 certification.
3. Minimum 5 years in leadership roles with a strong performance record.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Demonstrated commitment to Health and Safety.
6. Experience with conveyors and fixed plant systems preferred.
7. Valid C-class driver's license.
8. High-risk work licenses (LF, DG).
9. K3 certification (preferred).
10. Sound knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
