Job Description
  • Responsible for the claims handling overall for Gadget / MPAR category.
  • Ensure that the SLA targets set for each client can be achieved well in terms of review and payment.
  • Ensure that the aftersales vendors can run well in the workflow which includes Service Center / Logistics Providers / others as necessary.
  • Control the daily activities of the Claims Analyst team to ensure they are working productively to resolve claims within SLA and within guidelines for Gadget / MPAR category.
  • Create client and insurer claim loss ratio performance reports, weekly and monthly for Gadget / MPAR category.
  • Establish good relationships with Claims teams in insurers to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Able to negotiate strongly with insurers on behalf of customers' claim needs and queries.
  • Hold a daily morning briefing with the claims team to discuss claims pending statuses and handling of incoming claims and backlog for Gadget / MPAR category.
  • Actively evaluate current SOPs in claims handling and work towards improvement in processes.
Qualifications
  • Have a minimum bachelor's degree in any major or at least have a minimum of 3 years experience as a claims team leader in the gadget / electronics / Movable All Risks category specialization.
  • Have a strong work ethic and focus on fulfilling customer needs and queries.
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Able to work with a high degree of schedule variance, which includes shifting schedules and availability during weekends.
  • Able to maintain a good relationship with claims teams in insurance companies and negotiate strongly on behalf of customers’ perspectives.
