Back End Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Take responsibility for the tech development of the product.
2. Work closely with the founders to define and build the core product.
3. This is a high growth role with the opportunity to grow into a leadership position.
4. Demonstrate an appetite for learning new things and improving existing ones, and cultivate that same appetite in the development team.

What we are looking for:

1. Engineering wisdom equivalent to 4 years of experience.
2. Proficient in Java and SQL databases.
3. Proficient in data engineering; build ETL and monitoring tools to better ingest and interpret client and operations data.
4. Experience studying websites and apps for network traffic analysis between application and 3rd party network endpoints.
5. Proficiency in REST APIs, cloud services, Android platform, and web platform.
6. Evidence of exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application (e.g., well-designed APIs, high volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms).
7. Knowledge about backend build and deployment.
8. Familiarity with unit/functional/integration testing.
9. Interest in Fintech & Banking APIs.
