Job description

We are seeking a motivated professional to join our team as a Assistant Procurement Manager with a clear pathway to become a Procurement Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle procurement activities and supplier negotiations
• Travel frequently to support operations, including visits to mining sites and remote areas
• Assist in establishing and improving procurement systems and processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, GA, etc.)
• Support the development and implementation of cost-saving strategies

Requirements:

• Have more over 3-4 years proven experience in procurement, with at least one promotion in the same company preferred
• Educational background in Engineering preferred; candidates with degrees in Business or Economics with strong analytical thinking are also encouraged to apply
• Willing to be placed in Surabaya but open to travel (High Mobility)
• Strong willingness and ability to travel regularly, including to challenging environments
• Not allergic to dust or sensitive to hot working conditions
• Have driving license (SIM A) and ability to operate a manual vehicle
• Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow
