Senior Business Development Manager (Fintech)

On behalf of our clients, an AI Fintech company is currently hiring for the Senior Business Development Manager position. This role will be an individual contributor responsible for driving strategic growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding the client base.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the business development strategy for the market to drive growth and competitive advantage.
  • Negotiate and establish strategic partnerships across banking, payments, telecommunications, and other sectors to enhance consumer acquisition and engagement.
  • Work effectively within a multi-cultural and multi-country team, contributing to a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with new customers, create prospect profiles, and secure business while sustaining existing customer relationships by meeting and exceeding expectations.
  • Track market changes and competitor activities to identify opportunities and ensure the achievement of monthly and yearly sales targets.
  • Maintain strong customer relations to ensure satisfaction and loyalty, fostering long-term partnerships.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years in the financial industry, with at least the last 5 years focused on retail banking or consumer finance.
  • Confidence and competence in engaging effectively with top-level executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong business sense with the capability to understand and navigate the bank's products and market dynamics.
  • Deep understanding of current market conditions and product offerings.
  • Solid grasp of credit risk and strategies for operational improvement.
  • Embraces change with a flexible and proactive approach, taking initiative and driving projects forward in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Displays a keen interest in the fintech ecosystem and financial markets, particularly in emerging markets, to support strategic objectives.
  • Has a strong drive to learn and achieve, with a hunger for growth and adaptability to new initiatives and directions.
  • Utilizes data-driven insights to make informed decisions, enhancing strategic outcomes.
  • Demonstrates excellent fluency in English.
