Job Overview: Assists the Director of Security in managing daily security operations, ensuring the safety of property assets, employees, guests, and responding to incidents such as accidents and fires. Maintains necessary logs, certifications, and legal documents.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in security/loss prevention or related field.
  • OR 2-year degree in Criminal Justice or related major; 1 year experience in security/loss prevention.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Managing Security Operations
  • Develops and implements emergency procedures.
  • Recommends actions for security breaches and investigates property losses.
  • Deploys security staff and ensures all equipment functions properly.
  • Prepares reports on incidents and patrols the property regularly.
  • Handles guest issues and identifies safety hazards.
  • Maintains first aid and CPR certifications and complies with local security requirements.
Leading Security Teams
  • Participates in meetings to coordinate security efforts.
  • Recognizes team contributions and fosters trust and cooperation.
  • Provides training, coaching, and performance feedback.
Providing and Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service
  • Leads by example in guest hospitality and service quality.
  • Empowers staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Human Resources Activities
  • Manages claims and reports HR issues.
  • Implements policies and strives for service improvement.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Analyzes information to solve problems.
  • Builds relationships with law enforcement and communicates effectively with team members.
  • Coordinates VIP and media security for events.
