Position: Marketing After Market (Part Automotive)
Placement: Karawang

Our client was founded in 2004 and is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of an Indian company. The company came into existence with objectives to tap into the ASEAN market and locally support our global customers.

It is involved in manufacturing and trading automotive parts such as electrical switches, power sockets, lever holder assemblies, horns, and lighting solutions. With continuous strong technical support from our head office located in India, in-house manufacturing capabilities, and a strong supplier base in Indonesia, PTMA has maintained a strong performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and development, and enjoys a strong market presence with domestic customers for electrical switches.

Details and Requirements:

  1. Reporting to: Business Head
  2. Department: After Market Sales and Marketing
  3. Position: Supervisor / Assistant Manager
  4. Responsibilities:
    1. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape in the automotive spare parts industry.
    2. Develop and manage relationships with dealers, agencies, and partners to execute marketing initiatives effectively.
    3. Create marketing plans and campaigns to drive product awareness, generate leads, and support sales efforts.
    4. Analyze marketing and sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions.
    5. Monitor industry developments and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
    6. Work closely with dealers and suppliers to solve issues in a timely manner and take action to prevent further problems and promote revenue.
    7. Collaborate with the internal organization team to define product features and specifications based on market insights.
    8. Lead product launches and promotional activities to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
    9. Manage efficient parts inventory levels throughout our supply chain and make inventory recommendations to optimize dealer inventory levels.
  5. Experience / Expectations:
    1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
    2. Mandatory 4-5 years of experience in automotive spare parts pricing, product, marketing, and sales management.
    3. Good analytical capabilities are a must.
    4. Reporting and analytical capabilities.
    5. Experience in departmental and personnel management.
    6. Good communication, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.
    7. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
    8. Good negotiation skills.
    9. English speaking.
