Job description

Are you passionate about mobile development and eager to shape the next generation of iOS developers? We are looking for a driven and innovative Tech Mentor to inspire, coach, and guide learners through their Apple Developer Academy journey. This job is open for applicants from Indonesia and around the world.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging teaching, coaching, and mentoring sessions focused on coding and engineering mobile applications.
• Share your expertise in design, both in academic and industry environments, and guide students in applying it to real-world projects.
• Stay ahead of modern mobile engineering practices.
• Develop and curate a high-quality collection of coding resources to enhance our programs.
• Collaborate in creating technical solutions to support students and mentors.
• Model learning through your own professional development oriented towards real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree minimum.
• 2+ years of experience in a senior staff role, or 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience in Swift programming language preferred.
• Strong background in engineering mobile apps. Experience in native Apple platform development using UIKit, SwiftUI and knowledge of Apple frameworks preferred.
• Worked in Agile teams and applied Scrum or other development methodologies.
• Proven ability to empower students or mentees to achieve their full potential.
• Experience with Challenge-Based Learning, experiential learning, or inquiry-based learning is a plus.
• Passion for experimenting with new pedagogical models and methodologies.
• Experience in one of these areas is a plus: Machine Learning, Augmented Reality, Games (Unity)
• Based in Bali or willing to relocate to Bali.
