Custom Operations Specialist

• Support the CDZ department operations in the East Java area

Job Duties

1. Prepare PIB creation and calculations and ensure correctness and timely processing.
2. Maintain contact and correspondence with consignees to address incomplete or missing documents for PIB and keep them informed of cargo clearance status.
3. Define HS (Harmonized System) code/numbers for customs classification.
4. Be responsible for EDI transmission and customs responses.
5. Monitor and update cargo clearance status.
6. Monitor and coordinate the delivery of goods.
7. Maintain log books and job files.
8. Prepare reports on customs clearance progress/status.
9. Communicate any special requirements to consignees (if any).
10. Resolve shipment/cargo problems (e.g., pilferage, damage).
11. Monitor the collection of documents from third parties.
12. Input clearance status progress data into the CDZ tracking system.
13. Comply with QHSE procedures and regulations.
14. Actively participate in all QHSE programs.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in customs operations.
3. English fluency both in writing and speaking.
4. Computer literacy is a must.
5. Results-oriented mindset without compromising respect for others.
6. Has all technical competencies required by the position.
