The Chief Project Development Officer is responsible for leading the strategic development, feasibility, and execution of new projects in mining that align with the company’s growth objectives. This role ensures all projects are delivered on time, within budget, in compliance with regulatory requirements, and meet the strategic goals of the company.
Responsibilities:
Develop a strategic project development roadmap (short-term and long-term).
Identify and evaluate potential new project opportunities.
Manage project risks including cost overruns, delays, and permitting issues.
Establish strong communication with internal and external stakeholders (government, consultants, community).
Prepare, manage, and control project budgets and report progress to the CEO.
Direct the implementation of technical, financial, and environmental feasibility studies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Engineering (Industrial, Civil, Mining, or related fields), Project Management, or Business Administration.
Minimum 20 years of experience in large-scale project development, preferably in the mining sector
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Excellent strategic thinking, financial acumen, and risk management skills.
Advanced knowledge of regulatory, legal, environmental, and HSE standards applicable to large industrial projects.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
