Job Description

1. Oversee the day-to-day management of all logistics operations.
2. Continuously review and refine operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality service standards.
3. Manage, develop, and motivate a talented team of department heads and operations staff.
4. Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment and support team members in their career growth.
5. Oversee operational budgets and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
6. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
7. Oversee inventory management and ensure that stock levels align with demand while minimizing holding costs.
8. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and oversee customs processes for export/import operations.
9. Build strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and partners to ensure a smooth and reliable supply chain.
10. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to safety, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
11. Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for staff, drivers, and warehouse personnel.
12. Maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
13. Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly, ensuring that any operational challenges are addressed in a timely manner.
14. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and forward-thinking.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be based in Jakarta and meet these requirements:

1. 10+ years experience in operations management within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry. Proven experience in leading teams and managing multi-functional operations.
2. Bachelor Degree from reputable university.
3. Experienced team leader, hands-on leader who can inspire and develop teams, with strong decision-making abilities.
4. Solid Operational Knowledge: Deep understanding of logistics operations, including transport, trucking, export/import, and warehousing.
5. Strong Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, find solutions, and implement improvements.
6. Communication Skills: Clear and effective communicator who can build relationships internally and externally, from team members to senior leadership and customers.
