About Our Client

Our client is a leading energy company with a strong focus on offshore oil and gas projects. With a rich portfolio of operations in energy, they are known for their expertise in developing and operating some of the most challenging offshore and floating infrastructure projects. Their commitment to sustainability, innovation, and safety has helped them maintain a leading position in the industry. The client is currently in the pre-FEED stage of a large-scale floating oil and gas project.

Job Description

  • Oversee systems like valves, boosters, heaters, seal gas, lube oil, and steam per project specs and standards.
  • Lead System Design Reviews, ensuring timely and quality action completion.
  • Develop predictive models to understand system behavior and control logic.
  • Manage technical documentation, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Provide expertise in fluid-systems physics for steam turbines and compressors.
  • Guide internal teams to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
  • Supervise commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of turbines and compressors.
  • Prepare reports and updates for management and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop timely engineering reports for Tuna asset management.
  • Perform non-routine tasks as directed and keep management informed of key developments.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in steam engineering, with at least 5 years focused on offshore projects.
  • Proven experience in floating infrastructure, specifically in the oil and gas sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of steam generation, distribution, and heat exchangers in offshore environments.
  • Strong understanding of design standards, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Experience working on pre-FEED and FEED stages of large-scale projects.
  • Proficient in engineering design software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging offshore project environment.
