- Establish and maintain good relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients to foster long-term partnerships.
- Ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues related to quality or delays.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients to understand procurement needs.
- Provide regular updates to clients regarding orders and delivery statuses.
- Act as the primary contact for all procurement-related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and transactions.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities, vendor performance, and budget status for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in procurement processes.
- Monitor and manage the procurement budget, ensuring purchases stay within allocated funds.
- Identify areas for cost savings without compromising quality or efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors.
- Excellent communication skills for effective liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Strong analytical skills for price comparison and vendor evaluation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
