Finance Manager
Description
- In charge of monthly closing process to ensure timely submission of financial reports
- Monitor and manage cash flow
- Handle daily finance related issues from different departments
- Review VAT/WHT calculations and filings
- Review CIT filing and other statutory filings
- Oversee the documents compliance for opening/closing stores
- Quarterly Inventory check at store
- In charge of year-end audit, communicate with auditors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and Licensed CPA (preferred)
- Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting and bookkeeping roles, with a track record of process improvement and leadership
- Proven expertise in Tax filings, Tax computation, and related tax processes or documentation
- Strong and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Fluent in English, good attention to detail, positive, willing to learn
- Retail experience is preferred
Additional Responsibilities
- Responsible for closing and preparation of monthly financial reports, including bank reconciliation, balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Review accounting entries by verifying and justifying reasonability of each transaction.
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Liaise with Auditors, Tax Agents, Bankers, and keep abreast of new government policy regarding financial reporting, compliance, and tax submission.
- Participate in preparing yearly audit report and tax returns.
- Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
- Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Perform other accounting duties and support junior staff as required or assigned.
- Ad-hoc work, assisting the Manager.
