Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a highly motivated NTE Security Manager for sites across APAC, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The role involves overseeing security system installations and managing on-site physical security across multiple data center facilities. Responsibilities include evaluating and addressing security gaps, implementing remediation strategies, and ensuring ongoing protection of remote data center operations.

The role also leads efforts to standardize regional security practices, drives innovation, and fosters collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. Additional duties include managing vendor partnerships for security-related construction, repairs, and maintenance, preparing reports, providing updates to management, leveraging data insights for performance optimization, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. The candidate should be self-motivated, with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, capable of operating independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities

1. Analyze existing security operations to identify opportunities for efficiency, risk mitigation, and security enhancement.
2. Lead and coordinate regional security build projects and standardization/innovation initiatives.
3. Evaluate and address security situations, make decisions under pressure, and develop action plans.
4. Create and manage key performance metrics to monitor and improve security posture.
5. Oversee and collaborate with security service providers to ensure effective service delivery.
6. Investigate site incidents, analyze root causes, and produce detailed reports.
7. Conduct training for data center employees and contractors on security procedures and protocols.
8. Facilitate security operations and oversee project execution across international locations, requiring international travel.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5-7 years of security operations experience with 4+ years in program/project management
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Smart sheets (e.g., pivot tables, charts, lookups, formulas)
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, access management systems, video surveillance, alarm monitoring, incident management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with end-to-end project lifecycle, including process building and delivering results to senior leadership
• Stakeholder management and process improvement experience
• Certifications such as CPP, PSP, PMP
